5" Narrow Gauge Loco

A new comer to Walton Park, this lovely Sweet Pea 0-4-0 narrow gauge locomotive

This engine was bought from a Maidstone club member in November last year (2004).
This model is a Sweet Pea freelance narrow gauge engine designed by Jack Buckler , loosely based on a small Bagnall ' contractors ' type loco.

When i bought it i had every intention of giving it a better paint job , and recently made the decision to strip her down to bare metal and '' start again ''.

Some new plumbing was added together with new sight glasses and pressure gauge and Sweet Iris was reassembled back in her new colour of Cherry Red , with black edging and brown and ivory lining. New name plates finished the job off.
